Incoming Freshmen Resident students are allowed to park their cars on campus after purchasing a valid ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ parking permit.
Resident Student parking locations are enforced 24 hours per day, seven days per week, year-round for permits. Only one vehicle can be registered to a residential permit at any time.
Students should not bring cars to Norfolk with the assumption that they can be parked on the streets or public areas of our neighboring communities to try and avoid purchasing a parking permit. ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ works with its neighbors to reduce traffic flow and parking in nearby off-campus neighborhoods, and students are expected to help ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ be a good neighbor.

Available to all students living in ¶¶MÅ®ÆÍ housing. Valid in Resident parking locations (see map).

Notice
As of August 1, 2020, there is onlyÌýone (1) classification of Resident parking permit. It is no longer based on a student's on-campus housing location and is valid in all Residential parking locations.
Refunds
Depending on the type of parking permit purchased, it may be eligible for a refund. Permit types other than Fall and Spring semester permits areÌýNEVERÌýeligible for a refund once they have been purchased. Refunds for Fall and Spring semester permits will be issued according to the chart below. Refund Requests must be submitted in writing toÌýparking@odu.edu. Refunds will be calculated based on the date the email was received.ÌýFall 2024 Semester will be available for purchase AUGUST 1, 2024, and will be valid August 12, 2024 – December 31, 2024.
